1941 De Havilland DH82C Tiger Moth CF-CTN





CF-CTN is a 1941 De Havilland DH82C (Canadian) Tiger Moth. The aircraft was built at the De Havilland factory in Downsview, Ontario and was in service with #1 Elementary Flying Training School at Malton, Ontario throughout World War Two.

Between 1973 and 1975, a complete restoration was undertaken by the original “Tiger Boys,” Frank Evans and Tom Dietrich.

CF-CTN has won several prestigious awards at the annual Oshkosh Convention including:

* 1980 Reserve Grand Champion.

* 1981 Contemporary Age Champion .

* 1991 Warbird Champion
