1929 Pietenpol Aircamper

(For Static Display Only)

Another old airplane found in a barn - Just a few miles north of Guelph Air Park!

The Pietenpol Aircamper was designed in 1929 and has proven so popular that new ones continue to be built to this day!

Originally designed around a Ford Model T engine, most modern Pietenpols are now powered by 65 to 85 hp aircraft engines (though some still fly behind converted Ford Fiesta and Corvair auto engines.)

The Tiger Boys Pietenpol is unfortunately in such an advanced state of decay that plans call for it to be restored only to Static Display. Nevertheless - there are several other Pietenpols flying in the area, including CF-GFR owned by “Tiger Girl” Michelle Goodeve.
