1935 American Flying Flea Triplane
Designed and built in the 30's by a female pilot in Texas, the American Flying Flea is an extremely unusual design to say the least. While the Flea appears to be a Triplane, the bottom wing is, in fact, the Ailerons - which twist in opposite directions in order to bank the aeroplane. This extremely rare flying machine is currently stored in Texas, but the Tiger Boys will be returning it to Canada during this coming winter. So look for this rare bird when you visit us on the third full weekend of September. |
